According to Act No:4817 on "Work Permits for Foreigners" which entered
into force on 06.09.2003, foreigners who are to work in Turkey have
torecieve permission beforehand from the Ministry of Labour and Social
Security. Domestic Application for Work Permit ; Foreigners who have been granted residence permits in Turkey with validity period of at least six months, for any reason except training may apply for work permits within this period to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. Application for Work Permit from Abroad ; Foreigners may submit their application form for work permits from abroad through foreign representations of Turkey.

All the applications submitted to our Ministry can be followed up on-line. You will be able to follow up your application by clicking "ON-LINE Follow Up" link and entering your system code and password. (As soon as your application reaches our ministry, your e-mail address will be registered in our system and the system will automatically send to you an e-mail indicating the number given to your application and a code you need to use to enter into the system). By entering the system;
All the applications submitted to our ministry are directed to and assessed by sections, which has been established on the basis of sectors.
